Choosing a New Party Chair

Posted: May 30, 2012 in Uncategorized

Now that Brandon Vick is running for State Representative in the 18th LD, it seems likely that he will soon be stepping down as CCRP Chairman. So how will the new chairman be selected? This is one of the processes that many wish would be more open and public. The bet here is that the PCO’s won’t even be consulted; that a few party bosses will simply choose a new interim chair and then the board will rubber-stamp the choice…Voila! The people have spoken!

Enjoy it while it lasts. That swarm in the distance is getting closer…

Incidentally, how smart is Brandon to get out now and into a race where the only other guy is even more of a RINO than he is? Talk about selling before the crash! After the convention that he presided over, his career as chairman was headed for an abrupt end.

    • Vick jumps into an opening that apparently only he knew about, and then dares us not to vote for him.

      • R says:

We may consider taking it upon ourselves to interview his (D) competition. If that person has some integrity, perhaps they should receive some recommendation. We can wipe Brandon completely off the political roster this way. I am beholden to NO party, and in such capacity I WILL exorcise corruption!

      • Ah, but there’s the rub. There IS no Democrat competition, only the other Republican, who apparently has little to recommend him for conservatives, other than the fact that he is running against Brandon Vick.
